Awards

The SAB Social Innovation and Disability Empowerment Awards is an annual event that I usually enjoy as there is generally some pretty inspiring people and their inventions. Tonight, despite being a festive event with the inclusion of the Mzanzi Youth Choir, felt a bit of a repetition from previous years with some similar products/projects.

They still of course received huge amounts of funding and their businesses will be supported for a good number of years.

I did however meet some pretty interesting people in the crowd so it was still worth the long working day.
