High up

Our first day in London.

After breakfast we got the tube down to the river where we looked at the Tower of London from the outside then we went into the Tower Bridge exhibition. We had a great time, very interesting. They had some craft activities which CyclopsJnr enjoyed, and a highlight was the glass walkways.

We went to a restaurant on the other side of the river for lunch, picked quite by chance just walking by, and who should work there and come bouncing over but cousinlet E who (many moons ago) had been a bridesmaid for MrsCyclops and cyclops. What a surprise and a treat to see her!

We then got a boat along to Westminster where we had a wander and we saw Big Ben, the London Eye, the Houses of Parliament, Downing Street, then along to Trafalgar Square.

Very busy tube up to LKX and a quick dinner at Five Guys by our hotel because CyclopsJnr was tired out by all that.
