Moth

I rescued a moth that was attached to the leaves of my Iris unguicularis.  I was surprised to find three flowers nestling amongst the leaves, somewhat battered by the winds.  It's the earliest I've ever had flowers on this plant, also known as Algerian Iris or Winter Flowering Iris.  I'm no expert on moths but after a quick search online, I'm pretty certain it is an Angle Shades moth.  Distinctively shaped and marked ... and common.

A quiet day in the shop at Wharf today.  Bella was well behaved - extra pic.   The dogs had a run at the ball field after work and I'm having a quiet night in before taking Bella over to Birmingham tomorrow.  Jamie and Ruth are off on a mini break with their mum.
