Festival of Play

We stayed overnight at Ethan's Godmothers house last night, in Leeds. Ethan and her 2 sons were so excited to see each other and were so hyper, it was about 10pm by the time we finally got them all to sleep.

Unusually, Ethan subsequently had a lie-in till 8am, but poor Paula was up at 5am with her youngest! Upon waking, Ethan's first words were "I want to go and play with Finley and Thomas"!

After playtime in the garden, we took them to the Festival of Play at Harewood House. There were tons of activities for them to do although we had to buy tokens for lots of them so had to restrict how many the kids did otherwise we'd have bankrupted ourselves! The kids had such a great time though and after 5 hours charging around in the fresh air were pretty worn out afterwards.
