Not Much To See.
As I carried out my morning patrol around The Policies plus a side visit to review the neighbouring house and garden, it was very obvious that while very little rain had fallen, a heavy wet fog enveloped everything.
Not much to see or photograph unless you looked closely.
Today’s Blipfoto shows the end of a Scots Pine Branch. Insects have been busy spinning webs and moisture drops are everywhere.
The mist will gradually disappear during the day before returning quite quickly.
Pat is in the kitchen baking and cooking resolving yesterday’s sad scene.
There is much to be done inside following our two days away from home.
There is Strictly Come Dancing to be watched this evening. Quite a remarkable programme to watch, even for a non dancer.
I am busy in the studio sorting out paperwork and reorganising books and periodicals.
If the day had been dry I would have been working gathering leaves and preparing to plant various shrubs. Some treelets also need to be moved from unsuitable locations to permanent locations.
Tuesday is looking to be the most likely day to carry out this work.
I am not a waterproof gardener.
One other news of joy is the return of Red Squirrels. They are attracted by the vast crop of beech nuts and acorns.
Photograph them? They do not have time to stop and pose!
