Day of firsts

I bought a new boiler and picked up varifocal glasses. I think am now officially an adult. Both v easy processes, am hugely hopeful the boiler efficiencies will pay for itself.

And this was walking into town, a shame Queen Victoria’s letter box isn’t used any more, it still looks sturdy enough.

Will and I are both all ready for our separate holidays tomorrow. He is off to walk on glaciers in Norway so I elected to pack his case instead of leaving him to it to make sure he didn’t randomly leave out some piece of essential kit. I wondered after if this was the right approach, I would have left Daisy to it. No matter, he is on own from 5:30 tomorrow morning.
