Sunset on a slow day
It's been a slow day today as nearly all my plans have been interupted due to a very bad night's sleep and waking with back cramp and a painful arm. You've got to love sleep disorders.
It was also a day for failed blips. We had the plumber round as the neighbours below had reported a slow leak coming through their bathroom ceiling. Noticed a tiny spiderweb covered in water droplets in the toilet cistern. Every shot came out a really deep red.
I then tried to photograph phase one of "operation wedding cake" (as it will be referred to from now on) but it appears that dried fruit once wet does not photograph without a lot of unfixable shine so you'll have to wait until another day to hear about that.
I tried to photograph my labradorite belt but no amount of creative lighting would show it to it's best.
About to give up for the day and planning a really mundane blip of a note on a peice of paper I went to draw my curtains and finally found something almost blipworthy. It's not the nicest sunset in the world, I think if I'd been ten minutes earlier it might have had a bit more colour. It's also inspired me to one day blip my old uni building (the vaguely visable spire in the centre of the shot).
