Oh Rats

Dear O'H dear and The Normals,

It was such a gorgeous day. We had a great morning drinking tea in our PJs before going for a walk to the beach where I had a swim in the (very chilly) sea which was brilliant.

Lovely Tea Jenny’s sister, Ayla had a BBQ this afternoon. It’s Labour weekend so there was a real holiday vibe. The kids were all playing in the pool and we sat out in the amazing sunshine. I met LTJ’s good friends, Michelle and Bert. It’s so funny meeting people you feel that you already know because you’ve heard so much about them over the years.

I am so lucky getting to be here and spend this time with LTJ and Lil Dude. There is a very large amount of tea being consumed and chat!

I only had one accent fail today - I heard someone calling their dog - “Come here Rats”. Took me a minute to realise it was “Rex.” Vowels work very differently in the upside down!
