Mary Moriarty

Went up the Kirkgate in search of more LFTs (D now testing negative, me still -ve also, but still coughing) and I chanced upon Mary Moriarty's coffin being unloaded from the hearse for her funeral in South Leith Kirk. I had been wondering how on earth they would extricate themselves from the kirkyard, given the tramworks on Constitution St. Bollards down, so they'll go out via Henderson St on their way to Seafield Crem. See extra for her coffin in its full bright pink glory. I wondered about going in to the kirk, but assumed it would be full.

She was a fine person and a great Leither. Article here .
