Reunited!

What a full on day! Coffee with Nellie first thing and the arrival of The exile with the dogs. I'd warned Nellie it would be full on and it was! Oscar and his brother Orpheus were so happy to see each other again! Lots of growling and play fighting in the kitchen! Nellie was gobsmacked! If it wasn't for the fact Myself and The Exile were just smiling she would have thought it was a fight! 
We bundled the 3 dogs in the car and headed for the field - but The Exile was hungry so we stopped at Over The Top Pasties to buy her one! Unsurprisingly the 3 dogs were more interested in seeing if they were going to have some than playing with each other! I played with them on the hay stacks - Ginger went up straight away as she could smell the treats and so did  Oscar. Orpheus was just confused, and lets face it - no room for him anyway! 
Once home it was a quick turn around to get to the hairdressers. He made  me laugh telling me about his new friend who was the perfect man for him - but sadly straight! Friend Zoned! What was worse he told him how funny it was that they got on so well given he was the same age as his dad! I said oh no, double whammy, you've been dad zoned!! Too funny!
Next stop the supermarket, then home to unpack and head out to the local garden/ farm shop on the road into the next village  - the place that used to be a wildlife park back in the day! I took Oscar with me as I didn't think he would settle if left alone again! It was the first meeting of the All Female Hen Coop!  We caught up on village going ons over cake and tea! The youngest member has set up a business called Boost, having designed a more body friendly prosthetic for women who have had masectomy. Her mum had one and so she knew how uncomfortable the ones available on the market were. My mum had a gel filled sac and hardly ever wore it! Her company won a £107K investment from the British Design Fund earlier this year. She is one clever woman! Colourful Mai has also set up  a Community Fridge outside the local shop where food from supermarkets and Gleaning is placed to reduce waste of food from out of date/best before products. Anyone can take food from it as it's not a food bank. Lots going on in our small village driven by women!!
Having sorted out the rota for the hens and tasks like food collection and battery charging, it was time to go home and collect Frankie from next door. My neighbour is working late and if he is left alone he begins to bark! He gets taken for a walk by a dog walker - another woman from the village who has set up a dog walking business! 
So a busy day and thankfully IBS has settled down!
