Leaves

Finished putting down the remainder of the first batch of Violas this morning while Helen was out at the shops.A most wonderful Lancashire pasty on her return and a very indulgent cake.

The Beech tree still has leaves to shed and what has come down are everywhere.I am clearing them only where I have to the rest can rot down naturally.

The extra is a Dahlia I think is called Flashlight which Helen planted last year.

Becky and Helen out shopping this afternoon and she stopped for tea.She is concerned about Paz who is using her back legs less and less.

Em and Rick are in Berlin until the middle of the week with work.

Still very mild.We have had some of the warmest October days on record.
