River of Flowers

By doffy

Sunday: On Winter Time

A day of mixed weather: sunshine, warmth, torrential showers, wind …
Our daughter and Cousin Idris were driving up north to visit us, I think they had a bearable journey - it’s always nice to see them :-))
Dodging showers to go outdoors for fresh air I noticed the beautiful colours of the fallen leaves, blown against the wall by the howling gale  - mostly golden leaves of horse chestnut, some maple too.
In a sheltered spot near the house a nasturtium and a marigold bud bravely looking as if it might burst into flower.
We are all confused by the early dusk … it’ll take a few days for us to adapt …
Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
