River of Flowers

Monday: Past their Use-by date …

… or end of packet. Sorting out seeds this morning, some of these were part of a very generous gift  - https://www.blipfoto.com/entry/2507330168306011077 - they have not gone to waste, today’s Blip seeds have been scattered over the deep bed behind the greenhouse and the one alongside the greenhouse, they might get eaten by birds or they might grow and I’ll make good use of any seedlings and mature plants :-))

The 3 courgette plants which did so well  have also been lifted and composted, we had a good crop this year in spite of erratic weather.

Early afternoon a flock of about two dozen Curlews flew over, there were about the same number of Starlings with them too … very strange! A few hours later 3 geese flew over :-)

Still sunny this afternoon, I’ve started cleaning small terracotta pots and setting them out in the greenhouse - thinking of growing salads and micro greens in them as they warm up better if there’s a bit of sunshine and drain better too - just another experiment!

Love and hugs to all my family XXXX XXX XX

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
