Autumn colour

We travelled to Westonbirt Arboretum this morning.  We had intentionally ignored the fact that the clocks went back an hour last night and so arrived earlier than we would normally have.  We made the decision to have an early lunch which was the right one as it started train very heavily soon after.  There was a lot of rain and when we set off for a walk around the arboretum we both anticipated having to change our wet trousers before heading on to our daughters  house.  Luckily the rain did stop and then we had a delightful walk around the grounds enjoying the colour of the Acers.

It was then only a short trip to arrive at our daughters house.  Great to see them all again and catch upon our grandson's developments.
