Hanging Out With Mobile Art

Today's image was taken in a tiny wooded area between a housing estate, two industrial estates and some currently dormant fruit growing fields. A path runs through the middle of it and one particular tree always has some ephemeral artwork hanging from it.
It varies throughout the year but in its current guise it is a selection of delightfully eccentric decorated old CD's tied to the tree with ribbon, string, or attached by multicoloured pegs. This particular one caught me eye due to the rather bonkers combination of leopard print, a white duck at its centre and strips of polka dot ribbons. I have no idea who the artist is or why the artwork is there, which I rather like - it adds a bit of mystery, but I love them! They really brightened up a gloomy day.

A TV recommendation is next. If you get the chance please watch "Stanley Tucci: Searching for Italy". You can find it on BBC2 or on iPlayer. It's intimate and easy, a travelogue defined by Tucci's (or "The Tucci" as we call him in this household) natural charm and his laid-back enjoyment of all he experiences. It seems him visiting various areas of Italy simply to eat food and meet the people who make it. His approach is interested and chatty at the same time and it feels like you're there with him. It's just such a soothing watch and if possible should be enjoyed with a large glass of wine!
I've also read his food based memoir "Taste", which is wonderful too.
