Beautiful people

Today started with zooms from the hotel back to the UK on casting and legal.  At 1130 a director came to meet me.  We didn’t entirely engage.  Then a writer who is based here came over for lunch and we carried on talking until he had to leave at 4.30. Excitingly he pitched me a fantastic project whcih we are picking up and going to develop! 

Then I was picked up by Waleed and Joana’s lawyer and taken to their house in Northridge.  It’s quite a long drive in heavy traffic.  

It was such a treat to see them at home, to meet Fred, the lawyer, their manager, their daughter and her friends.  Glorious family dinner and then was driven home extremely fast down the 405 via Bel Air where MJ their manager was staying.  My nerves were a bit jangled!
