Shop owned by a Xenophobe

Two days ago the owner of this shop posted a diatribe regarding an incident that took place in her shop on her business Facebook page. Bad Move!

As I commented how dangerous it was for a business owner to express such right wing hate speech, it did come back and bite her (quite rightly)! Despite her taking the post down the next day, social media went to work with screenshots of her hate speech all over the Internet. The local paper had picked it up, all over Twitter and comments were put on her Facebook page then she closed the account. She turned off comments in her Instagram page also. It also came to light previous comments she has made on Facebook about refugees, trans, George Floyd, you get the gist of her. I saw her before a few months ago on the TV when the Tory party hustings were in Perth and she was interviewed commenting on what a great leader Liz Truss would be ! Of course there is no way she would have voted for a brown person even if they were up against a bag of sawdust! It’s idiots like her voting for the party of hate that have got us in the mess we are in At the moment. No we aren’t being ‘invaded’. No not every person that isn’t white is an asylum seeker. Why do they feel threatened by people just trying to better their lives fleeing war or oppression or whatever. I feel absolutely zero sympathy for this vile woman.

I took a picture of the shop, and the young girl who is working there today came out and asked me to delete the picture as she didn’t want her face in it. I showed her that she wasn’t in the picture and she went back in.
