A seat in the sun

Sunny but so cold too quickly, hard to get used to! I dug out my thermal underwear, toque and gloves to keep me warm on my walk. Great to get outside, not enough exercise the last couple of weeks. I had a quick walk down a quiet road close to us because we were expecting a phone call and G wanted to work on the driveway. He waited for me to come back. This chair sits on the deck of an old cabin. I've never seen anyone use the cabin or the chair! Been walking by it for years. I liked the autumn colours from across the road reflected in the window.
I used yesterday's surprise win to toast a ciabatta bun for lunch. Worked just fine but I'm not sure I'll give up the toaster. I do enjoy a good toasted cheese sandwich though so that might be tomorrow's lunch.  :-) I found a couple of recipes that I'd like to try in the air fryer option, including one for crispy yam chips.
Looking forward to streaming the last home game for Kalyn's team. They have two more away games next Thursday and Saturday. Fingers crossed that they get a win tonight!
