Golden Glimpse

Love opening the door in the morning and looking out on this.

Up early to go as a translator with M to the hospital in Évora. Waited hours, and then no agreement between the doctor and her - neither would listen to the other. Quite different from my experience last week. So, no way forward... shame.

Gratefuls:
- the stunning countryside we drove through; the Alentejo is very beautiful in the low autumn light
- a sushi lunch with M and G, absolutely delicious
- seeing the cranes again as we walked out at dusk
