One fun gi

A very mild day.  Caught up with more washing from holiday now the day is dry.

More neighbours met Kyro.  Richard used to have a lurcher and with his partner Mags who likes cats, still misses a canine.  Both were pleased to meet him and it appeared reciprocated.

Today while walking a terrier bolted from a house straight to Kyro.  I wasn't at all sure what would happen and did ask the owners to catch their dog and explained Kyro's adapting.  But it all turned out fine.  Kyro greeted the dog wagging his tail but then turned away to signal enough.  The owners of the terrier were understanding and didn't feel their dog was in danger.  I thanked them and apologised if I'd alarmed them.

Walking has been so much better.  He was fascinated by cars moving on the nearby main road.

This afternoon I took him in the garden on the lead.  A squirrel was perched on a branch at greyhound height unfazed by an approaching hound.  Kyro freaked, almost screaming and pulling to get at it and rearing up with all his strength and me using mine to hold on and try to turn him away.  Managed to get him indoors.

Later, of course the fox was in the garden which was another trigger.

OH noticed when I went into the back garden, Kyro went upstairs to look out of the back bedroom window.  He then goes downstairs when he saw me returning.  Learning a lot about him too.

Pleasant evening everyone.
