Our first surprise from the boys

Well today has been another very busy day.

After a late breakfast, we went to Harbour Town, as Martin wanted to get a few things for his work summer wardrobe. As usual, we took longer than we planned, as there were so many things to see, that we had to go directly to our next “appointment” which was one of the boys’ gifts to us.

We were told to be at a certain place at a certain time, only we couldn’t find it. Once we got there, we realised that we might be going on a boat trip. Thankfully Ben provided a phone number so we could call and find out where we needed to be.

All sorted and we boarded a private yacht for what was going to be a 2 hour champagne cruise off the Gold Coast. Really really lovely! We were thrilled. It was just the two of us plus the skipper and the lady who prepared our treats. A seafood lunch! With champagne of course.

What a lovely gift, we really enjoyed it and were really impressed by the boys’ thoughtfulness.

Back on to land, and off to visit Martin’s dear friend Sharon and her husband at Sanctuary Cove.

Kevin has had some serious health issues so it was really good to spend some time with them and hear about his treatment and how he’s doing, how they are both doing actually.

Wonderful day and enjoying this break very much.
