The finches are messy. They will sit there in the feeder for an hour or more and they fling some of the seeds onto the deck.
Today was the last official day of work for this year. It was a busy season and had its ups and downs with staffing issues, but that is normal, it happens every year. Three of the workers that finished the season are interested in coming back next year. I am planning to have a Christmas party here at my place for my workers, the ones that finished the season and the ones that left on good terms.
