Jeep Safari (again)

A perfect day to go off road high into the mountains. From this point, about 1600 metres altitude, you could look across to the three highest peaks, or, to the right, down to the sparkling ocean.

I’ve added a couple of extras but I hope my blip has caught some of the excitement.

A terrific itinerary. Faja dos Padres, Tabua, up to the plateau, the Parque Forestal at Fanal, Porto Moniz, Seixal…….

Madeira and Funchal are wonderful, but it is really worth venturing a bit further. The jeep drivers are safe, well informed and fun.

(And I love spending some time with a few under-sixties…)
