Cordyline Australis
A lovely sunny morning, clouding over in the afternoon. Showers weren't far away. Still fairly breezy.
Up early, and our walkies around the village. Popped by Laura's to drop Sammy off. Last late shift of the week. When I arrived, I missed the cancelled Aberdeen flight. I've been working on the check-in desk all day. We had another Fair Isle and Foula flight today. Slight delay on the last Aberdeen flight, but out work on time. Picked up Sammy, and Anne was in visiting. Feet up now.
A lovely morning for a walk with Sammy, and we took our time. As we came up the road heading home, the neighbour's cabbage tree ( Cordyline Australis) was looking good in the sunshine, sadly not a tropical temperature to go along with the look. The cabbage tree, along with other New Zealand plants do well here in our climate. Taken on Hillside Road, Scalloway.
