Klinin' Sandwiches

Mostly cloudy all day, dry and a breeze. Winds fairly picked up tonight. 

Up early, and a morning around the house.  Met friend Julie for walkies in the late morning.  Headed down to see mam and Laura in the afternoon.  More walkies before tea.  Working in the shop this evening, and a steady night of customers.  Might try a pint later. 

Mam announced early in the week about the History Group auction sale was starting back up tonight, unfortunately I agreed to working before I knew it.  I did help out in the hall this afternoon with a few things.  When I arrived, the kitchen was a hive of activity, with various women klinin' (spreading) butter for the sandwiches, and getting the fancies ready for the night.  L-R around the clock - Lorna, Lynn, Jemima, mam Pat, Anne and Laura at front.
