Dreadful

There is a saying in the Navy; “Rough As Rats” and that is exactly how I felt today. I sat listlessly on the settee with a blanket over me for most of the day.
I couldn’t be bothered to eat, drink other than water or even read, dreadful would be a better description of how I felt.
The highlight of the day, if you can it that, was that following a prolonged bout of coughing and sneezing I then had a nosebleed like no other I have had, even when it was broken when boxing.
I eventually went miserably off to bed hoping to feel slightly better tomorrow but I have a feeling that the Cornwall Parachute Regiment Association formal dinner might not be a goer tomorrow, for me anyway.
