Cheering up November

It has been a dull, misty, day and I wasn't looking forward to driving in those conditions to visit  my Mother. However, fortunately  I had a smooth journey, and  when I arrived at her house I was greeted by her smiling face, and the  delicious fragrance of hyacinths, which made it all worthwhile.
I had bought the bowl of  hyacinths in bud when I was here a couple of weeks ago, and didn't  realize how fast they would develop in her warm house. I was grateful  as it meant my blip subject had been decided for me, instantly. Sorry I can't transmit the perfume, too.
