The ‘Glow’ at Wisley

Just back from visiting the RHS gardens at Wisley for the Glow light trail. The blip is my favourite bit this year. It is all very nice with lots of trees and plants lit up but I was not that impressed by the display by the big glasshouse…lots of search lights, fountains and weird patterns on the glasshouse, less good than last year. Also a projection on the old laboratory building which was very elaborate and clever but again not what I expected …it had depictions of laboratory apparatus, tubes, conical flasks etc clever but … See extra. In previous years I have always recommended other people to go but this year I’m not sure I would!

We went while it was still light to have a look round the gardens briefly and I was interested to see that the leeks in the vegetable garden seem to have some sort of rust, like ours on our allotment!
