More Christmas Trees

We went to Worcester Cathedral this evening for a rendition of Handel's Messiah by candlelight.  It was an excellent concert given by the Worcester Festival Choral Society comprising 150 voices, along with an orchestra and soloists.  A very enjoyable evening, possibly better than watching England drop out of the World Cup, though all credit to them for getting so far. 

It has been a cold day, followed by a colder night, everyone in the audience was well wrapped up.  

As a bonus the cathedral is currently holding a Christmas tree festival.  The cloisters are packed with a huge variety of trees made by companies, schools and charities.  As we were a little early for the concert we had a good look at the trees before taking our seats.
