A wreath

The latest addition to the Christmas sampler quilt.  Lots of hand stitching - first piecing together the diamonds, then attaching the wreath and the bells to the background fabric.  I think it would look much better with some randomly scattered berries - may add some beads once I am reunited with my sewing stuff from storage.

I don't think today was quite as cold - some of the frost melted in the middle of the day.  But W felt it was quite cold enough when he had to sally forth to check the tyre pressures - we had a low pressure warning light last time we were out which was slow to go off, despite adding some air to the offending tyre.

Another long trip to view a house tomorrow, but that's the last one, and we will try to decide which house we like the best.  We suspect there may be a "head v heart" conflict.
