Chrimbo lights

Our offer was accepted, so now all is underway to get a survey and hoping to be moved by the end of February.  Hoping this is third time lucky!

We took a trip in to Loughrea, for a contact lens check and eye test.  The optician has persuaded me to try some new fangled multifocal lenses - contact lens manufacturers are giving out free trial packs because they are losing such a lot of long term customers.  Apparently once the near vision becomes so bad that one needs to wear glasses for almost all near tasks, people are giving up their lenses and reverting to wearing varifocal glasses all the time.

We had lunch at the Roots cafe, and very nice it was too.
