Thick As A Brick

The villains henchmen are not the brightest buttons in the box. But they’ve not got long to work out the evil plan, as this was the last Sunday rehearsal before the show (apparently, it would not have been a popular move to schedule rehearsals for Christmas Day and New Years Day) and the hope was that we could start early and get through the whole show with as much costumes, props and scenery as possible.
After four hours we’d only just got to the end of Act 1 so we might need to speed up a bit or our audiences won’t be home before midnight!
It is definitely coming together though. We’re 99% ready, it’s just a case of fine tuning and upping the pace now. Having done this for the past 29 years, I have no doubt that it will all come together “on the night”.
Tickets are selling well so, if you live in the Kendal area and want to know what the painted brick on a roller skate is all about, just Google “BATS Burneside” and follow the link to book tickets. A good night’s entertainment is guaranteed and we promise to be finished well before midnight!
