Getting ready

Another busy day. Washing and ironing more or less completed after our 6 visitors. Final shop completed though there may be a last minute purchase. Marzipan on cake. Front path power cleaned to get rid of the biofilm which was making it slippy ( too many rowan berries and leaves). We have 2 friends coming for Christmas lunch one of whom hopefully had a knee operation today and hopes to get out on Christmas Eve. I didn’t want them slipping on the path.

So lots of preparations and clearing the “inbox”. Still a few local cards to write and deliver but it now feels manageable.

As I returned from the shops I spotted this Santa getting ready by having a trial run. It has to be perfect on the night!
