Christmas Day

A good sleep last night, finally. A slow and lovely breakfast in bed, before walking by the sea at Chidham. Merlin added some excitement to the morning by chasing rabbits residing in a large gorse and bramble thicket. He emerged after some minutes of us calling and whistling him, a little bashed with grazes and thorns stuck in various parts of his body!

We returned home for present opening and a delicious roast chicken lunch cooked by Andy. Conversations with family took place, along with a late afternoon dog walk to waken our senses and prepare ourselves for an evening snack and relaxation.
