Farmers

Last lot of presents finished, for distribution to my brother and SiL and to my nephew and his G/F. I've never made it before but it seemed to pass quality control this morning (after breakfast).

I went to the allotment this morning as well.... scenes of devastation abounded after the week long snow and prolonged cold snap. The only thing that seemed to survive were some Cavello Nero and even then not much of it.  Not much survived in the garden plot either, it will be the first time we haven't been self sufficient in veg over winter for a few years and I can completely relate to the challenges farmers and food retailers are having.
