Library
Zoom with 2 old friends today, walked, did a few errands, one of which was to pick up a library book from my University Branch of the Seattle Public Library. Snapped this photo from the car of the south end of the building because I love the sketchy tree and when it's in bloom one can’t see the lovely 1910 neoclassical building, built with a grant from Andrew Carnegie when this part of Seattle was still “out in the boonies” That side door must go to the auditorium in the basement. (at least its a blip out of my neighborhood!)
Here’s a link to a too long article but the old photo is worth it to see the front. And no trees like now.
Extra. Our street. Worse than ever!
See a good link about Carnegie libraries below in first comment !
