Best night of the season

We left home just after 1pm and headed up to Huntingdon to The Old Bridge Hotel where we checked in and then met our friends Linda and Pete. A few drinks and nibbles and lots of catching up done, we retired to change for dinner.
Whilst I was waiting for the rest of them to come down I sat and got my blip.
The hotel is an 18th century townhouse hotel on the banks of the River Great Ouse and has been privately owned for nearly 30 years by the same couple. It’s an extremely well-run hotel with a reputation for fine wine and excellent food.
A well deserved reputation too I think. We had a great dinner in the evening, good night stay, breakfast and then home.

They have a huge selection of wines in their shop within the hotel. A little lost on me to be honest but incredibly popular and whilst I was sitting in the reception area for just about 10 minutes it was quite a challenge to get a blip without one of the guests or staff popping in and out.

Back blipping this picture, plus a couple of extras, we are now home and back to work tomorrow.
