On the trails again

Mother's day yesterday was beautifully sunny, partly cloudy but warm. Felt like being in paradice, all the family was home - my husband biker too:-). Visited my mum in the afternoon and in the evening I made some gardening and listened to the radio. There was ABBA-special evening in YLESuomi, and as I am the former Abba fan, it was very nice and relaxing to listen to the long radio broadcast.

Monday has arrived sunny and warm. The weather forecast promises +20c again. Seems to be right this far, which is nice of course. Finland is getting greener and greener every day now. It feels like trees made their leaves bigger during night also. Green is almost more beautiful colour that the pure white in winter here.

Helsinki day. So I am in a train again and the blip is from the middle on the journey, from Hämeenlinna. There is an old castle built on an island by the lake Vanajavesi besides the city of Hämeenlinna. This old castle from the 13th century nowadays is a museum and there is arranged some children's happenings and sometimes concerts during summertime.
