Years End

Last day of 2022, I was surprised to find that a good many of my friends had no plans to be out on the night. Like me they have chosen to spend the evening at home with family and friends. Mrs S is working, Sam out with friends so Joshua, Tiana and I played the Cornish version of monopoly, with a beer or three to accompany the game.
Earlier in the day I had lunch with good friends, Steve and Tina, a meal and just a couple of beers to see out the old and welcome the new.

So fellow ‘Blippers’;
The hope is that in the year to come, we make mistakes.
Because if we are making mistakes, then we are making new things, trying new things, learning, living, pushing ourselves, changing ourselves, changing our world.
If we do, we will be doing things we have never done before, and more importantly, we will be doing something.

So wherever you are, whatever you are doing take a moment to raise a glass of your tipple to those we love who are no longer with us, those we love who are in ill health, those we love that distance separates, and to the promise of health and happiness that 2023 brings.
