Sick And Tired

An emergency blip from the chair where I have been ensconced for the past twenty four hours. Didn’t feel too bad when I got home after yesterdays rehearsal, but went downhill rapidly after tea. Couldn’t bear to lie down as it set me off coughing so I spent the night just dozing in the chair. A pattern that has been repeated throughout the day, with the waking moments filled with the consumption of Lemsip and snacks.
Starting to feel a little bit more human now, and am hoping to actually go to bed tonight and have a proper sleep.
I was supposed to be auditioning in Lancaster tonight for a play, but have postponed that until tomorrow. It will clash with technical rehearsal for Panto but I’m not really needed at the latter, so will just pop in after the auditions to see if there is anything I can help with in regard to scene changes, etc.
Got to admit though that my immediate goal is to be well enough to bring the boxes for the Christmas decorations down from the loft tomorrow. Otherwise that tree is in danger of becoming a permanent fixture in the corner of the lounge…
