Tuesday: Hellebore

Weather was calm with light rain this morning.
As the day went on the rain got heavier, the wind got stronger but it wasn’t cold.
It’s almost 9pm, it’s blowing a gale, pouring with rain and outside temperature just under 12°C, which is really crazy for early January!
I had a surprise phone call from Margaret this morning, we had a lovely chat and lots of laughs and have hatched a little plan for next week …
The birds were very hungry again today, feeders refilled 3 times, that’s when I noticed the hellebore had a few buds. This was the same plant last year -
