Pollarding the willows

That’s the third and fourth willow done.  We cut back the Weeping willow the first spring and it is in much better shape.  The second we cut back last March and have just done the last.  The pollarded ones did much better in the drought and the old lopsided crack willow has already shed a branch this week so it, and I in the barn office below will be much happier when it’s windy.

Had an all day zoom on episode 3, from 10 - 6.  It was exhausting, much more difficult than doing it in a room together.  But such is the way.

I managed two walks today and my back is finally getting better.
