Colour Needed!

A grey day in Copacabana! It was chilly down the front and also up the top of Portobay Hotel on Avenida Atlantica when we went to inspect their pool terrace on the twentieth floor. It did provide swooping vistas of the bay to each side, brightened in the collage above by one of Rio’s ceramic stairways, this just off Nossa Senhora near the Palace.

It was a slow start to the day with coffee in bed and then some urgent turn round work and year planning including some trip possibilities. The rain poured continuously until just before we went out after 4pm. Feijoada lunch in the Triangle place and then home for a movie…In Bruges.
