Orchid

Given to me by a friend after my hip op.  I have another two on the window sill which are about six and seven years old and still flowering!  They are not treated very well - I just throw water at their leaves and above-ground roots from time to time and that seems to be enough!  Not very good with indoor plants.

We were supposed to be going out to visit some friends and celebrate a birthday but our hostess has been hit with a cold we were put off for obvious reasons.  But instead another friend came and spent the night with her dog on her way from Lyme Regis to Wiltshire which was a lovely surprise and there was a lot of catching-up over supper.

Our neighbour's cattle broke out and came on to our farm running through the young oilseed rape and in this wet weather left their mark but that is farming - things happen. They were swiftly removed and driven home again.
