Cookery Class

Today's the day ..................... to bake

Tessa and Josie are with us for a couple of days - before the schools eventually return on Wednesday.

Us girls had a bit of a cookery session this afternoon.  Josie helped me with a lemon drizzle cake, the best bit being when you have to make lots of holes in it and spoon in the lemon syrup - although it does involve quite a bit of spoon-licking as well, which she's very good at.

Tessa was making scones and was quite insistent that she didn't need a recipe.  She often makes them with her other Gran and knew just what was required.  So I just let her get on with it!

The next generation of home cooks is well underway ..............
