So nice

So nice to be back in the office, doing a catch up with our core development team.  N and I were saying that hybrid working is the dream, some days no commute, some days back out in town pounding the pavements, bumping into old friends 

Today we had a meeting with the new Head of Drama at the BBC and walked there in the cold,  dry weather, back again on the pavements chatting as we went.  The old doorman, Prakash who I’ve known for decades welcomed me back and told me the ‘BBC needs you back’. Which they don’t, he says this every time, enjoying recognizing people who have left and who then turn up for meetings.   

After that an afternoon at the office talking about future projects and then back on a reasonable train to the firelight…
