Dear England
Noemi and I went to see James Graham’s play about Gareth Southgate called Dear England. It was at the Prince Edward’s Theatre in the centre of Soho. A large theatre, we had to queue down the side to get in, it was packed and there was a different vibe to usual, and I’m guessing an audience who understood football. It’s a great production of a good play but beautifully staged and performed with a fantastic cast. A standing ovation, deserved, at the end when we were all led in a chorus of Sweet Caroline.
When the National move shows into the West End they take care of them, and the casting is great and the production values retained. So a good evening with a nice bar snack at Barrafina before hand
Stayed up at the Covent Garden hub and enjoyed walking quickly back to my bed through the icily cold night.
