Room with a view

However not for much longer.

We went over to see MrC’s brother and wife for lunch today.
They sold their house in summer and at the moment are staying in a flat in a converted mill complex near Skipton.
This is a view of the Aire Valley from their balcony. Not a sea view, but flooded fields as the river has overflowed onto the flood plain.
Something which happens every year.

They had some good news. After house hunting for six months, this morning they finally found one they like. On a new estate in a village just outside Skipton. Should be finished in a few months time. The photos look great, and although they have had to make some compromises they seem happy.
So fingers crossed all goes well for them.

It was nice to have a good catchup and an enjoyable lunch.
Looking forward to seeing the new house soon.
