Flower Friday

Another lazy day with a dip mid afternoon. I am reading a book by Margaret Forster, the wife of the writer Hunter Davies. The island where we are staying, Bequia, is Hunter’s favourite island in the Caribbean and imagine my surprise when last night there was a lengthy passage all about Bequia. Margaret died a few years ago but Hunter still visits the island.
For our evening meal, we had decided to go to Frangipani, but it was all shut up when we arrived so we walked further on, in the dark with our torches along the rickety concrete pathway until we spotted some people. A good choice, no booking, but the owner fitted us in and a very pleasant lobster meal was had. This flower was on our table so is my flower Friday, thanks Annie.
