Homeward bound

After packing up we headed over to the Birks of Aberfeldy - it was a lovely walk and the first time I'd been out of our holiday house since we arrived on Monday.

We had lunch in Aberfeldy before hitting the road back. We were quite surprised when the route took us through a still very snowy and frozen landscape.

That said, we arrived back in NMB in pelting rain and a howling gale and it wasn't long before it was snowing. Its not come to much yet but believe it has 'potential'.

I'd have happily stayed in that house longer but it's also good to be home too.

For everyone that's been asking, we stayed at The Ferry House in Boat of Cluny which is about 3/4 miles outside of Aberfeldy. I highly recommend. To be unwell and pretty much housebound for the whole holiday and still really enjoy it is quite an achievement. We'll go back for sure.
